Thursday....

You know what it's like when you are waiting for a big event.........we'd been in London 3 days and had enjoyed ourselves immensely......this was our 4th day.....the day before the big day.....and although I was having a great time.....in a way I wanted to hurry up and get Thursday over with.......Note to self: Live in the Moment LOL!!!

So, Thursday am we wandered over to the Royal Horticultural Halls and Conference Centre to do a reconnoiter of the logistics. Couldn't see anything unusual - big double doors to enter....it was only a 5 minute walk from our Hotel (that was why we picked our hotel) and would be easy to get to on Friday morning -- we (er I) wanted to be there early!!!!

Then we spent the day in the area of "The Embankment" by the Thames - Westminster Abbey, walked around the Pariament Buildings. Got this great shot of "the eye" which shows you just how huge it is!Then we did some more yarn shopping at....

.......a lovely little shop about a 10 minute walk from the Angel tube station!

We had our dinner at a little Italian bistro -- freshly made pasta with Parsley picked from the plant on the serving hatch counter -- we saw the chef picking it himself!!!

Then back to the hotel to try and relax for the big day!
