Rowan International Club anyone?
If you are a member of the Rowan International Club.....I was a member years ago, let it lapse, just joined again......you'll know that you get a free gift from Rowan (Westminster Fibres) each year.
This year it's a lovely scarf pattern - actually two scarf patterns - one lace one cabled - and yarn.
On Ravelry the Rowan Knitters group have been swapping their yarn if they didn't like the shade they received....so I was anxious to see what I'd get.....beige would have been too blah, brown would have been so typical for me!, red would have been awful.......I got a lovely shade of Turquoise -- sorry, but I seem to have lost the photo....so instead....
Wht do you think of this photo? I've been playing around with Photoshop Elements....

What a neat photo! It took me a minute to see Daisy...is that a Nova Scotia tartan tie? Funny thing about the Rowan gift, mine contained black yarn which is perfect for me. It's like the knitting goddess is looking out for us.
